Utilities

This set of applets enables Form69, WorkStatus and WorkStatusTX to import records from Premiere 4, FCE Reporter and IME Reporter. If you are using one or more of these applications, and you'd like to be able to transfer records between them -- for example: import Premiere 4 records into Form69 or import FCE Reporter records into WorkStatus -- you should download and install Utilities.

To download and install the Utilities, follow these steps:

1. Click here to start downloading the Utilities.
2. When prompted, click "Save this program to Disk" and click the Ok button.
3. Use the "Save As" dialog to navigate to your \Desktop folder.
4. Click the "Save" button to download the document to your Desktop.
5. After the download is complete, locate the wptUtilitiesSetup icon on your Desktop and double-click it to start the installation.
6. Follow the setup prompts to complete the installation.
7. After the installation is complete, you should be able to use the
   Import Form Data options in Form69, WorkStatusTX and WorkStatus.

Controls
Like most Windows^® applications these days, EME's applications rely on the presence of several third-party controls that are installed along with your application. From time to time, these controls may be accidentally removed, damaged, or overwritten by the installation of non-EME applications. If you need to reinstall one or more of these controls, you can now download the one(s) you need without having to completely reinstall your application.

To install a control:

1. Click the control's link (above) to start the download process.
2. When prompted, click "Save this program to Disk" and click the Ok button.
3. Use the "Save As" dialog to navigate to your \WINNT\SYSTEM32 folder.
4. Click the "Save" button to download the control to your computer.
5. Reboot your computer and run your application as you normally would.

Note: You should only reinstall a control when instructed to do so by a Knowledge Base article or by a member of the EME Technical Support Group.
